The Real Manor House

When I started writing Endless Winter I had no idea if a house really existed in Baildon like the Manor in the book. I later researched the area and found that there once was a huge mansion in the exact place I'd written about. It was owned by Sir Titus Salt and called Milner Fields. It was actually much more grand in real life than the one in my imagination.
Unfortunately it was knocked down in the fifties but if you go to the woods and search through the trees there are still hints of the old house left
